AKINA COOPER 🤍

She didn’t just step into barbering and cosmetology simply to change appearances—she stepped in because she understood that every person carries a story.

Each chair holds more than hair. It holds growth, grief, faith, and becoming. Early on, she recognized that when someone entrusts you with how they look, they are often entrusting you with far more. What began as a love for the craft evolved into a calling to serve people holistically—mind, body, and spirit.

Licensed barber and cosmetologist, Akina Cooper has devoted herself to mastering her skill with excellence, precision, and care. Yet her work extends beyond technique. Her hands are guided by intention, prayer, and a deep belief that God meets people in the ordinary moments—quiet conversations, deep breaths, and the courage it takes to sit down and be seen.

Malchut Co. was born from that belief. It is a sacred space where grooming becomes ministry, beauty becomes restoration, and care is given without rush or judgment. A place where clients are not only styled, but affirmed. Not only transformed outwardly, but reminded of who they are and whose they are.

Akina cast the vision for a space where grooming becomes ministry, beauty becomes restoration, and care is given without rush or judgment. But her leadership does not stop at vision alone.

In her role as Director of Operations for Malchut Co., Akina ensures that everything behind the scenes runs with the same excellence and intention as the services offered in the chair. She oversees daily operations, coordinates staff and schedules, manages resources, and cultivates environments that reflect the welcoming, faith-centered culture of the Collective. With an eye for detail and a heart for people, she creates the structure, consistency, and systems that allow the team to focus fully on serving clients—while also fostering growth, stability, and opportunity within the business.

Every service within the Collective is offered with reverence and purpose, honoring both the craft and the individual. Whether someone comes seeking a fresh cut, a transformation, or simply a moment of peace, they are welcomed fully as they are.

This is more than hair.

It is healing.

It is identity.

It is anointed work.
