Ai Akinaa Clothing was founded in 2020 by Akina Cooper, passionate advocate for body positivity and self-love, driven by her own journey of self-acceptance and empowerment. At the age of 22, she found herself grappling with feelings of inadequacy and insecurity, weighing just 98 pounds and struggling to fit into clothing. Constantly confronted by societal standards that dictated what beauty and allure should look like, she felt a profound disconnection between her self-image and the world around her.
